I remember all 3 of them like it was yesterday - Julius Hodge got us in 2005, Michigan State in the FF in Detroit, and that Iowa State debacle.

Fortunately, there were no other NCAA losses in this particular time frame in question.

There is a monument to said George Mason within 100 yards of the Jeffersom Memorial in Washingtion, D.C.

I only know this because I happened to walk past it two Sundays ago while on my way to the National Mall, screwed up my patriotic pride and read the wonderful story of this great American whose name will sadly be forever associated with one of the dark days in Husky history.
