Apologies if this has already been posted but this weeks issue of Sports Illustrated has a great picture of Kiah and Chiney Ogwumike diving on the floor for a loose ball. Unfortunately, they identify Kiah as Bria Hartley. Doesn't seem right for Kiah. Hope they print the correction when they finally publish an issue which features the women's NC. According to a footnote in this week's edition they said that the game took place after the publishing deadline but they would do an article next week.

One of the most dominant sports teams in history and they probably won't get a cover.

They showed one pic on ESPN's "The Sports Reporters" and gave it a casual mention after they talked about the men's team Sunday morning.

I find it oddly satisfying that the a 40 win season that results in an National Championship and our becoming the winningest program/coach in WCBB history, all while crushing the only other undefeated team is barely newsworthy. It's as if the whole world just says "Well of course they did that. They are Connecticut." In some ways, that's pretty cool.

. . . this weeks issue of Sports Illustrated has a great picture of Kiah and Chiney Ogwumike diving on the floor for a loose ball. Unfortunately, they identify Kiah as Bria Hartley . . .

In the same issue several pages later in what I think is called their "by the numbers" feature
they use the old (non-threatening) Husky logo instead of the new one.

Kind of sad to think that what we love so much just isn't that important to SI or the
national sporting scene.
