Don't binge Dexter beyond season 4. After that it goes south. (Just an opinion, of course. Some / many may disagree.)
 
The Affair is a really good show as well. Its a murder mystery that is shown from different perspectives. Season 2 just ended in December and they were renewed for a 3rd season. I read through this thread quickly and didnt see it mentioned

From about episode 5 of season 1 through the end of season 2, it has been outstanding. It took a while to get going.

The whole plotline around Chuckie's book report on Mein Kampf was epic.

I second "The Affair". Surprised at how much I liked it.

Ray Donovan is good as well.

Took me a long time to finish after zooming through the first 5 seasons. It actually felt like work.
 
I have to say the Stiles season was okay. The Hanks/James Olmos season was just bad. But I am liking the beginning of season 7 (we're three episode in) with the Dark Passenger out in the open and Debra coping. Jennifer Carpenter is brilliant in this show.
 
Shameless is knocking it out of the park after a slow start this season. Carl, Debbie, Frank, Ian and Kevin/V plotlines are very good. Kevin trying to keep the bar hipster but not too hipster is awesome, and every line Svetlana says is hilarious. The Alibi could have its own show it is so funny. Fiona is relegated to essentially the show's narrator this season, but that is OK. There is enough good stuff going on that she can be a narrator.

Shameless...definitely my favorite show on TV. It has crossed over to p o r n, though. Watching Macy bang fat 70-year olds is cringing to see.

 
The last episode and a half went a little too far for me. It always takes Macy over the edge. That character has done some really awful stuff over the seasons, and at least twice a season I ask myself why I am still watching it.
