Obviously Benedict and Herbst get the lionshare of the credit for doing what needed to be done but I think the fanbase has a little say in this. We wrote letters, gave impassioned pleas and yelled from the high heavens that we were so incredibly displeased with the direction under Diaco. We may not be a football school but we are a passionate bunch and I still firmly believe UConn football is a sleeping giant. Give us something exciting and the fans will turn out in droves.
