Yup Alex played well, we need him desperately. Olander is a key to this team but I think we all realize we are at our best with a strong Alex in the starting lineup.

Absolutely, finally getting the PT he deserves. Against bigger competition he needs to be in more. Yes, he messes up once in a while. But his strong defense and rebounding make up for it. He is much stronger inside than Tyler. Tyler has his own abilities that he brings to the table but in games against guys like Jones and Kilica (however his name is spelled) Alex needs to be in and he proved that tonight.

Alex played a nice game, had at least one more shot and rebound (than I made note of at the game) than I realized when I just re-watched the game. I was very happy for him because of all he has been through, media, knowing he was disappointing, the fans crabbing, not starting. I always said he looked happy-go-lucky, just a friendly, chill dude, and he has not looked that way at all this year. Seemed a little more bounce in his step tonight and some expression on his face...especially after that first shot. Very, very happy for him and the team. We need him. Also, thanks for the thread, cuz I am too chicken to start one but I thought the guy deserved some retribution after all the negative stuff said about him.

I thought he played with more effort / heart yesterday, which was nice to see. The team needs him.

Alex should also thank the officals for bailing him out when he fumbled that rebound out of bounds with less than 1 min left. What a terrible (great) call.

agree it was nice to see him play some inspired minutes last night... if he can play against man and tyler can beat that zone as the middle guy hitting elbow jumpers and passing, I think we'll be in really good shape

we def do need him playing well to be a great team though
