Making baskets is the best defense.

Kansas doesn’t play fast but our turnovers and bad shots helped them tremendously. Doing the same against UNC is going to be make things tougher.

Kansas doesn’t play fast but our turnovers and bad shots helped them tremendously. Doing the same against UNC is going to be make things tougher.

We only had 7 turnovers. They played great D and forced us into a ton of deep, late clock shots that led to transition bucketets.

Self complained about that and said they needed to get out in transition much more. I think they are still figuring out the reality of a team built to thrive in transition and Hunter Dickinson, who is a half court machine that doesn't run well.

UConn is #1 in offensive rebounds and the way we hit the glass leaves us somewhat vulnerable to teams that can run off misses. Best to attack us before our defense is set. I'll be watching for that tonight.

Their D in the first half was pretty spectacular. We could barely move the ball and were bailed out by Newton time and time again...
