Sherri Coale Going For 500th Win Today

Sherri is in her 24th season and has a career mark of 499-270. Oklahoma will try for their fourth consecutive Big 12 victory. They are currently 10-6 and 3-1 in the Big 12. They host conference foe TCU, 12-3 and also 3-1 in the conference at 4 pm eastern today.

TCU’s coaching staff includes former OU players Britney Brown and Abi Olajuwon.

I count Sherri as one of the good guys. Sending success wishes to her today for her 500th win at home!

The Horned Frogs threw a road block in front of Sherri Coale on her home court. They won the contest going away 82-63, leaving Coale stuck on 499.

Next chance to reach 500 is on the 22nd in a road game against The Texas Tech Lady Raiders.

Two days after Charli Turner Thorne got her 500th win in a triple-OT grinder vs. USC, Sherri Coale's team comes back from 22 down to win in OT at Kansas.

Hopefully this milestone will inspire the Coach and her charges the next time they step on the court with the Baylor Lady Bears. We don't need any more 25 plus points blow outs.
