It's a shame that fate prevented Shea from playing in the Olympics. She would have been pumped. It also would have been a joy to watch someone with her talent and drive add the benefits of wisdom and maturity on the court with a long playing career. (Please don't think I am calling Shea an immature when she played, but we all know the value of experience and seasoning for everyone in all aspects of life.)
