Shark Week

As a long time fan of Shark Week, I'm not fond of the approach Discovery is taking to it so far. Perhaps they felt it would be boring to simply show programs about sharks. So day on gives us three celebrity based shows. Bear Grylis was pretty good, and I have few complaints. The Shaq episode was funny, but dull and barely even dealt with sharks. I deferred watching Rhonda Rousey.

More celebs on tap all week long. I don't understand why that is necessary.

There were some very good episodes later in the week. The Law of Jaws was crazy. I know they had some precautions in place, but those folks really did put themselves in danger.

The other night they showed Jaws - truly a great movie. Just wish there weren't commercials, Jaws is best watched without interruptions.
