went after the ncaa i see. funny how miami and unc just like everyone else will get away with murder, drugs, sex, gang stuff, academics, cars and so on but uconn leadership couldnt figure out how to smooze the ncaa right or challenge them right. just amazes me the leadership we have. unc couldnt have a apr becuase of what they did yet the ncaa accepts there apr #????? lol give me a break, any competent leadership figures out a way to challenge this correctly and not send warde for a couple bags of tea and a womens bball talk. chesus christ.

miami is getting away with just about everything but murder, well that depends on what side u sit with aborton stuff. i mean think about that. and were in trouble for a kid who never played and a few texts that are now legal anyway. absolute joke this new leadership couldnt pull off clearing us from the ncaa then schools like tosu, gtech, unc and miami get high fives.

to be honest, before some 1 brings up psu, what was doen there was different. were not talking about players and recruiting. so dont bother.

Well, Dana O'Neil, PSU alumna, and ESPN hack takes Emmert to task. In her usual snarky way, she also refers to JC as Sgt. Schultz who "Knew nothing," in the Nate Miles deal. She doesn't mention PSU, but likens Jim's behavior to Emmert's, where both are hiding behind a subordinate. Sour grapes stuff to say the least!

"Paterno insists he was completely unaware of a 1998 police investigation into a report from a Second Mile mother that Sandusky had inappropriately touched her son in a shower. The inquiry ended when the local prosecutor declined to bring charges. “You know it wasn’t like it was something everybody in the building knew about,” Paterno said. “Nobody knew about it.”"

Now That there is some Sgt Shultzing...

What's sad is that even though the NCAA needs to be brought down a peg, it might end up with Miami getting away with crap that they actually did.

Oh and to all the people that say that schools should just up and leave the NCAA? They do realize they are going to need some sort of organization that will be eerily similar to the NCAA to manage the whole shebang right?
