The biggest thing I took from the game against Temple was that KO has decided to try to ride his best player(s) as far as they can carry the team. Shabazz came out differently than in any game this season, looking to score and dominate the game. He pretty much did so and probably would have had 20 points at the half if he didn't get a second foul call.
I hope that we see the same strategy and the same aggressive Shabazz tomorrow night. It was nice to see him try to get other players going early in the season, but it also contributed to those slow Shabazz scoring 1st half performances. Do we really know how dominant he can be? I say, "NO," we don't. How dominant can Shabazz be? Like, real dominant, man.....but we have not seen the all out "Shabazzination" of the AAC. No more Mr. Nice Guy, Bazz needs to go out and make the opponents try to deal with him......and then start to get DD going and make great feeds to AB for easy dunks, etc.
I want to see more of unbelievable change of pace moves that leaves 3 defenders watching Shabazz make a layup. How good can he really be? I would like to find out. How good do you think he can be?
