Can't believe 3 is only 16 years old. Very bright future for him. Every post is so professional and well written.

Would love to see UConn land some of these Connecticut kids coming up.

Heron is 6'4" as a 15 year old w/ PG skills.

Jalen Adams teammate too... Are we making better New England inroads? Would be nice to keep the Northeast talent home.

Update: I just saw his profile says "West Haven"... local kid! Hopefully that helps us! He seems like an Elite player at this early stage of his HS days... let's keep on him!

No they aren't teammates. Adams attends Cushing Academy.

Did Adams transfer? ESPN has both of them attending Wilbraham & Monson Academy.

Not that I know of. I'm pretty sure he was at Cushing last year as well. For info on recruits don't look at ESPN. They update recruits info probably the least out of any site. Personally, I think 247 is the most up to date and accurate for the most part.

Yes.

I love to see us starting to get stronger with New England kids. I want the next MCW, Noel, Vonleh, etc to stay here. Not to mention the next Bazz!

Teams should know that they'll have to fight us tooth and nail for every elite talent from Staten Island to Gloucester and all stops in between.

Thanks once again 3. Can anyone explain the composite number of 247 vs. non composite number?

My understanding is that the normal rankings are the ones that their staff makes. They argue about where the recruits should be. I'm not sure but I think composite rankings are based on the recruits measurables and stats or stuff. Not 100% sure.

Upon further research, I've found Cushing as his HS. LOL Damn, recruiting is complicated. Thank god I'm not a recruiter. You can look at 10 sites & get different info from each. How does one really know?

Mustapha Heron is from Meriden, his dad was a star at Central and the family moved to West Haven this year. Another kid from Hartford named Jordan Hardwick is probably going to be big time, he plays at a new school called Commonwealth Academy in Springfield, a lot of young talent on that team.

Top player and UConn target in 2016 is transferring from Wilbraham & Monson to Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury....will be interesting to watch this kid develop for all those in the area.

His dad's whacked! Moved him from Meriden originally to get "away" to play better basketball or whatever....he's in a great situation in Wilbraham and now that they moved to West Haven he's going to school in Waterbury? Watch the twists and turns to this as time moves on.......

Wow, this kid will be an absolute force in the NVL, the NVL always has some talented players but not sure why he would take the step down in competition. Wherever he's playing I think UConn will be al over him.

If we want him there is no way we are losing him to Cincy, Florida might be another story.

Why is it that a lot of Northeast kids seemed to be infatuated with Florida? O.K., never mind!

Sam Cassell sends his kid to Ollie to prepare him for the NBA, he doesn't send him to Florida schools, not even to his own alma mater FSU whose team is headed by a former NBA head coach.

Some people are in the know, some aren't.
