All of this is to say that UConn has a shot at a 2-seed if they win out because their competition will be losing games between now and Selection Sunday. Because of the matchups, they have to. They can’t all win out. If UConn wins the BE Tournament, the championship of the 3rd best conference, the notion that they will be passed over for the runner up of the PAC 12, the 5th best conference, really isn’t likely to happen. The point is that there’s still time for UConn to turn their season around and get a 2-seed. Despite the recent discouraging losses, I happen to think they’ll do exactly that. [/QUOTE]
