Your last sentence says it all. It should not be an issue. You are describing bias. I understand refs interpret the rule book based on their background and philosophies about the game. That is OK. Forming a bias is crossing the line to illegality. Actually, I am not raising a bias issue. My complaints about the refs have to do more with their outdated philosophies on the game than an illegal bias towards UConn.

Having said that, I will repeat my stance. I can crap on UConn players and coaches. I can also crap on the refs. Both were poor. My choice is to crap on the refs. I was a called a loser.
