Coupled with west virginia losing last night gives us a chance of not having to play on Tuesday if we can win out

Personally I really don't see how finishing eight or seven would be that much better than finishing nine or ten.

In a choice between 8 or 9, 9 may actually be better because you can get that game against the last place team. It should be a win to pad your record, and then you've hopefully gotten the jitters out of your system to play the next team.

I don't think you really would start feeling fatigue until the semis (which is when I think we started to see it last year).

I actually think Seton Hall losing is very nice for UConn if we can get to the eight seed it can go a long way for a better seed or a tourney berth. 9 seed we face a 16 first round with a chance of a crushing upset lose or a win that doesn't mean anything. 2nd round game probably is vs a bubble team that with a lose may only make our seed a little worse and 1 win in the BE tourney vs a bubble or tourney team helps us big and put us into a 3rd round game vs a BE juggernaut and any wins after the 2nd round jolt our resume.
