&1 More and better quality Mix-and-Match at a faster PACE is part of Geno and CD’s solution to the riddle of a deep quality roster.
  • One enables the other (and vice versa) and results in faster and better learning and improvement (akin to machine learning) and flatter minutes to achieve program and individual goals;
  • And the more dominant mix-match play is, the more time can be carved out of games for training the lower bench players.
 
Thanks again for this work. Now I have more stuff to ponder for the next few days. The new rotations look like they’re intended to give Allie more time with KK Kayleigh Sarah Jana and Blanca. This isn’t surprising given how well she’s been playing lately.
 
Super work. Today, both K9 and Blanca were plus 25 each while on the floor. Sarah was plus 31 and Azzi was plus 23. Pretty powerful numbers for subs.

Rotation Stint Index Series.
  • Per Bonedog’s Inquiry.
  • The Index (Per 40 Plus/ Minus) is based on the most recent games as of a certain date: 3 Quad 1 games, 3 Quad 2 games and 4 Quad 3/4 games.
  • Similar to other Indexes (DJIA, CPI) methodology but different; For example, not all Quad 1 games are the same, and Geno and CD have different targeted objectives in the “metamorphosis” period.

Plus/ Minus stats are rotation stint stats: how good a rotation stint is or how good a “rotation player” (a “plug and play” “basketball player”) a player is, whether it is for a star player or the 4th/5th scoring options.

Playing 10 minutes less than her season average doesn’t meaningfully alter certain conclusions about Serah - the rotation player:
  • with Geno confirming he likes his rotations, Serah is definitely starter rotation material (Posts #2, #3 and #7);
  • in post #7, Serah’s Rotation Stint Index &1 Series (Value (Total, 01/25/2026) = 36.1), is remarkably consistently among the Top 7 rotation players with remarkably similar Series;
  • this is part of the reason why the Team performs consistently (Value (Total, 01/25/2026) = MOV = 34.6) (see post #7) across an evolving 10-game set, even though Geno and CD overlay the objective of winning games with a changing set of objectives per game.
&1 The Rotation Stint Index (Per 40 Plus/ Minus) is the rotation analogue of NetRtg/ NET/ Barthag. Serah is a good rotation player for Maximizing Offense and Minimizing Opponent Offense.
