We're UConn...not Providence, no Depaul....this is the defending NCs, and you're happy because they played good enough to lose by 18 (gee, sorry i exaggerated by 2 points). I bet you're happy when you got a trophy for every soccer game you played in as a kid too

They didn't choke they ran into a better team who played as well as they possibly can offensively and they still made it a game for 35 minutes..........anyone who saw anything else is blind. UConn didn;t take very good care of the ball and still was in the game. More positive than in a few games for sure!

I have no complaints about the game today. Uconn played hard and well. Cuse shoots slightly less lights out, drummond doesnt get hurt, and Uconn could've stolen it. Cuse is a great team and that's their house.

85 is more than 67.

But 3 is more than 1.

For as good as we were offensively can we talk about how we were on D, open looks everywhere, every time they drove the lane they had no opposition at the rim. They shot 60% for christ sakes. We're the defending champs, we shouldn't be having "moral victories" because we only lost by 18 and we played "a great 35 minutes" jesus.

Same as the L'ville game, they started gambling and giving up lay ups. They had zero poise. SU would have shot their normal percentage if the defense played with any discipline down the stretch.

AMEN....UConn was a top-5 ranked team and the defending NCs coming into the season. And people are happy because we were down 2 with 4 minutes to go and lost by 18??? what kind of logic is that?? People, WE ARE NOT DEPAUL!!! moral victories are usually not valued by a program that has won 3 NCs in 13 years. All today showed is what the ceiling is on this team right now....and that is that they re a far cry from the best in college ball

Fact is, Syracuse hit everything. They got the obligatory bank-in 3 pointer in the first half. Didn't miss on 10 footers. Very high 3 %.

We played great for an unranked team that got killed by a so-so Louisville team.

I've always liked Syracuse. They are a solid team, but they're by no means unbeatable.

I figure there's a damn good chance we beat them when they come to Storrs.

I think there's a good chance we win out the year to the BET. Seriously. We played that well.

I view it like this - we've 5 bone head plays from having won that game.

You are an "idiot" because you are focusing on the final score more than the performance they had out on the court today. Cuse was hitting all of their shots. Sure, could have played better D on some of them. But really nothing much to complain about. Good effort, good refs, good coaching.
