what do you suppose Geno whispered to Kelly at the end of her section?

Jim Fuller's blog says Faris told him this after the game:

"He said he is going to do everything he can to make this end the right way," Faris said. "I care about him a lot and I respect him a lot. I know he cares about us and this group of seniors a lot. He is willing to put everything he can into it and not even for himself but for his team, for us to go out the right way and it is on us to give that back."

Thanks for sharing this, Wendy! I was in the stands for the ceremony, but I loved being able to relive it ... and catching a few things I missed "live" ! :)

Thanks for posting! It was great, as they always are.
On the SNY feed, just before Kelly walked out with her parents she had to get them organized - first grabbing her dad's and hand then nudging her mom to get her hand. I found it an amusing touch as she seemed more together than they were.
Great class with three widely different stories - but all part of the continuum of the Uconn family.

I loved the kids going to hug their parent afterward. It seems to me my past memory is that they took a group picture then went over to their teammates....

Do miss the CPTV senior day retrospectives.
