The Committee is soliciting nominations for the Senhor Testiculo award.

The seniors? Bazz Giff and TO all played above their norm. Not sure anyone else did, although Dre played better than he has been.

Shabazz Bozie Napier

I know who it isn't, anyone trying to play defense. RU had way too many easy buckets.

If the game where a blowout I'd consider Giffey going off on Senior Night. But, that's a loss without Bazz.

Gotta be giff. Would've been Bazz but it doesn't take a sack to throw a tantrum and foul a guy at half court when the game is still in doubt because you don't like a teammates shot selection. He could've waited until the under 4 timeout to yell at boat. And if he did it that way, I would've have nominated Bazz twice, once for scoring and play, and once for wanting this team to be better.

Love ya Bazz, but that was a prissy move.
Prissiness is an automatic disqualification from this award.

Bazz.

Every score that Rutgers made he answered with a big shot. Too much emphasis on the one mistake he made. He still beats NG 24 -19 if people feel the need to subtract two points from his scoring. I can't see holding back an award because of something negative he did without weighing it against all the positives. And besides several of NG's open looks were because Bazz set him up.

Sorry August but to emphasize that prissy move by Bazz as a negation of an otherwise huge game by Bazz is a prissy move.

I hear ya. But to me it's not really a mistake in a basketball sense. A mistake is Boat shooting early in shot clock, or Brimah and Daniels losing their men on many screen and rolls. Those are basketball mistakes that happen countless time in dozens of games a week.
Bazz's action wasn't a basketball mistake it was a hissy fit. ( yeah like I'm having now :-) He wasn't going for a strip, he fouled that guy to stop the game and show his displeasure.
I acknowledge that without Bazz we don't win the game last night, hell, we probably don't even have a 500 record this season without him.

It was a bush league move, and indefensible. I forgive it, kids make mistakes, it doesn't diminish my appreciation for everything he has given uconn, but it was wrong for so many reasons.
