Semi OT: Lynx trade

Candice Wiggins to Tulsa and get Janel McCarville from New York. Could potentially be a good deal for a team that was overloaded at the 2-3 spots anyways.

Tulsa ended up with Nicole Powell and New York got the rights to Deanna Nolan.

Is this a prelude to Tulsa drafting Diggins...afterall they are BFF's. Chicago needs to draft the player that will help improve their team the most, not necessarily their attendance figures. Not real familiar with Chicago's make up and needs but from what I have read, EDD may be a better choice in this regard as opposed to Diggins. As far as Skylar is concerned she will improve the team and attendance figures wherever she lands.

I think it is a prelude to Skylar going to Tulsa. Skylar is the local talent for Chicago, but Elena is the better pick, in my view.

Smart move by Tulsa to acquire Wiggins to help make the likely draft pick of Diggins excited about Tulsa. They should fit fairly well together as a backcourt as well.


Hard to know what kind of condition McCarville, but her passing ability fits Minnesota well. There's upside there. Minnesota likely drafts a PG now in the 1st round maybe Lindsay Moore, but I would really like to see them go get Kelly Faris to fill the void left by Wiggins leaving.
