People need to understand dog behavior better if we're going to live with them. You need a new dog trainer. Negative reinforcement doesn't work well. Any kind of shock/smell/vibration collar rarely works well as a long term solution. That isn't how modern trainers are teaching dogs to minimize barking. [/QUOTE]
