That practice soon spread throughout sports but it started on a sad week in history in Texas. Lots of players stay close to home but the apron strings of Texas are longer and stronger. I stand by my comment that in the minds of many Texans, their state comes first. I have no problem with that but it is a real thing. [/QUOTE]
