I don't think it is p too hard to picture the role for Latson. We've seen it several times recently. Her usage at FSU was right in line with Zia Cooke and Fulwiley at SCar. She will likely pass a little more and play fewer minutes than she did at FSU (though she passed quite a bit). But I think we know what she should look like, in terms of touches but most likely she will look better on offense than we saw SCar guards look last year. Roster wise :SCar had two losses from last year: Fulwiley and Feagin. Latson is a better player than Fulwiley was last year. Hands down. Fulwiley might well explode this year, I don't know, but that's not what Latson is replacing. The other loss is Feagin and it's possible there might be some pain there, but SCar will be a much bigger team in any event and will be extremely deep in the frontcourt. I'd wager they will be better. Maybe a lot better. Now, the season after this one is a little scary when you think about possible depth charts (hey, but we should get back Watkins so no doubt UConn fans will make us the prohibitive favorite) but there is just no reason to expect SCar to at all struggle much come this November. I'm not sure they will be the best team in the country, but top 2 or 3 seems very likely. But strange things happen so you never know. And USC is more vulnerable to backcourt injuries as the depth is young.
