No Bird or Stewie, Seattle back to 2019 starting lineup. Storm up 22-14 after Q1.

Dang, Seattle is up 20. I need somebody to tell me again how bad the Storm are w/ Canada playing PG.

Diggins and PHX in general have picked an odd game not to show up.

45-19 approaching halftime. What in the world is going on?

23-5 blitz in Q2. Canada leading everybody w/ 11 points.

50-26 at the half. Seattle shooting 54.5%, Phoenix 19.4% (and 14.3% behind the arc). If it wasn't for 12-13 FT shooting, the Merc would almost be getting shut out. Only 6 made FG in a half.

Uh...somehow it's gotten even worse for the Merc. 12-0 run by Seattle to start Q3. Somebody waive the white flag!

As noted, Sue is out and Stewie is out.

Diana hasn't played much. Skylar is sitting now.

This is a huge butt-kicking. 62-26.

Phoenix has 2 kinds of shots: (1) airballs and (2) those that bounce off the rim. Shooting 15.8%. They haven't scored in over 5 minutes.

Man, we were duped into thinking that the Storm is better with Sue and Stewie. :D

Skylar is -32 in 17 minutes.

How much to Minnesota pay Phoenix to take a dive in this game? I'm sure they're worn out from the OT game a couple days ago, but you'd think they'd have a little motivation to try to secure the #4 spot in the playoffs.

Seattle decided not to bother playing the 4th quarter so Phoenix could make the score look a little better apparently.

Wow, if Langhorne and Tuck have played a combined 22 minutes, you know this game was not competitive (w/ 5 minutes left still).

Both benches playing a ton of minutes, but since Phoenix has only 8 available, a couple starters still had to be on the floor.

83-60 final. Walker-Kimbrough had a game high 24, nobody else from Phoenix did anything. Seattle starters all between 9-13 pts. and Magbegor and Langhorne both in double figures off the bench.

Nice to see Langhorne get some minutes and play well. Morgan really stunk it up though 5 fouls, 2 turnovers, and no points, rebounds, or assists.

Here's a dubious stat line--Tuck played 15 minutes, no points/assists/rebounds, 0-2 from the floor, 2 TOs and 5 personal fouls. Does Connecticut want to trade her for KML?

Weird game. Neither team bothered pulling out all the stops to win. Once Phoenix got in a hole early DT just sat. And the other starters minutes were cut way back too.

I wonder if this might be Morgan’s last year in the WNBA? She was injured earlier this year so maybe one more year if she can get fully healthy again?

So Lynx back into the 4th slot.
