Would love to see Seattle make a trade to get a higher pick in the draft. Then pick Tiana Mangakahia, a good shooter and great passer. She is a bit older but should have a good 6 or 7 seasons in the WNBA.

Might not need a higher pick for her.

Laksa beginning her rookie year next season.

Having a point guard with a complete game would help, and she has a competitive nature, a lot like Sue.
Not the greatest athelete, but high basketball IQ.

It’s a good year for PG’s.

A small noteworthy footnote to this game. A'ja Wilson played 33 minutes without committing a single personal foul, while guarding the paint and the rim. I think that's impressive. She's learned how to not foul and stay available and in the game. She lead her team in scoring today with 23. I would love for UConn's post players to learn to play without fouling and stay on the floor. [Box score]

If UConn could find 24-year-old post players with 3 years of pro experience and yet who are college eligible, I'm sure they would take them. Until then, this is a pretty apples to oranges comparison.

Quarter ends on a Hamby steal under the Vegas bucket with a second left and putback.

19-18 Aces end of first.
Vegas scored 4 points in the last 2 seconds, including on Hamby's steal. That changed the momentum, and Seattle dug a big hole after that.

With Sue not healthy, Seattle is not the same team. Las Vegas, Minnesota, Chicago, and Los Angeles are better.

Not so fast. Minnesota without Fowles is also vulnerable. About to lose to Atlanta, the second worst team in the league.

edited--it's gonna be comical if Dallas maintains their lead and beats LA today

uh, never mind on that last one
