>>First off, as we continue to assess and improve the overall fan experience to provide maximum value, we are reducing the majority of season ticket prices by 10% for the 2018 season. Season tickets in our Family Section will be reduced even more, an average of 28%, and separate adult and youth ticket prices have been eliminated to ensure affordable pricing for families in 2018.<<

>>Additionally, this year we are excited to offer our most passionate fans a Priority Renewal Discount of an additional 10% if you renew by the Priority Renewal Deadline of March 1, resulting in a total 2018 decrease of 20% (36% for Family Section tickets). The Priority Renewal Deadline Pricing applies only to 2017 season ticket holders renewing season tickets and can be used for added seat locations as well.<<

>>Another change you will notice is .I.T. Fee has now been included in the ticket price rather than broken out separately. We made this change to make it easier for you to quickly see your total price. As an update, last season you contributed more than $355,000 in football-related F.I.T. Fees. <<

I feel like with the $30 Facility Fee it's exactly the same price I've been paying.

Might get the family tickets. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get a blue pass with those seats? We have over 400 priority points if that means anything.

Until the day STs are more cost effective than the secondary market... Heck, I still get in for $10 with my old student ID. I graduated 4 years ago.

Is the gray lot easy to get out of after games?

With recent attendance, yes. Larger crowds it can take half an hour to get past the blue lot entrance to the East Gate on Silver Lane. They have started re-routing some of the Grey lot traffic west towards P@W and then you go through the winding cone maze to the main stadium entrance (Roberts St.) across from access to I-84. With a big crowd this will be slow.

Ah UConn football.

Where a ticket that retailed at $830 and netted to $730 is now $800 and that's a 10% 'discount'.

Maybe UConn didn't get the note.... but the donations are no longer tax deductible - so if you don't change them and lower only the face value...

The tickets aren't discounted and it's even more annoying next year when you sell them out from under season ticket holders.

To watch one of the worst teams in the country go 2-10.

It's seriously amazing there are 10k fans left.

Fun with charts:

Conservative assumption on the donations 15% tax bracket:

2017 Cost/2018 Cost

Club: $1155/$1254 +8.5%
Lower CB: $755/$800 +5.9%
Mezz: $580/$646 +11.3%
Upper: $430/$441 +2.5%
Pref: $295/$292 -1.5%!!!!!
Reserved: $180/$168 -6.7%
Family ~$160/$96 -40%

Nice discount. Family Section - The official ticket of people who drink beer behind the red line.

You can't even make it up. The family section is literally one section. 137.

Hey dupes - LOOK AT THE DEAL - sure it's only 200 seats but LOOK AT THE DEAL!!!!

I'm done with them and their nonsense. I've had season tickets in some form since 1999 - I'm doing what everyone else does and just buying a $5 ticket in the parking lot.

Since you have the calculator out - What’s the delta if renewing before March 1?

I’m thinking of hitting enzone from prefered.

Preferred is $274 -7.1%
Endzone is $150 -16.7%

If they let you may as well renew into the family section - it's not like you can't sit anywhere you want in the end zones anyway.

You can tell me they are 'getting it'.

The per game season ticket price of a preferred sideline ticket is $48.67. An upper chairback is $73.50. SEVENTY THREE FIFTY.

For Rhode Island, UMass, Temple, UCF, Cincinnati and SMU.

That could be only 1 bowl team. And today they would be favored in 2 of those games if they were lucky.

I feel like it's the definition of 'not getting it'.

I did end zone corner lower level last year- wasn’t as fun as I was hoping it to be. Might go upper deck corner.

The family section should be bigger and not next to the visitors. I’m a drinker- so I would not be in the family section, but I could see the appeal for people with young kids.

Husky Medic the Homer v. Whaler.
It’s crunch time. I can afford the blue seats and donation but will be damned if cretins crawl into my row unabated.
