Good for her - to know when to prioritize what. We all obviously love wcbb, and it's a loss for the team, but the reality is that most players don't go on to play in the pros, so academics are very important!

They sure are; even when WCBB players do play in the pros, they are not making the life changing money of MBB players. Dawn is very much a stickler for her players doing well in the classroom.
