Screen Passes to Newsome

Newsome is definitely our best playmaker but with that being said, why did we insist on repeatedly dumping screen passes to him when he was lined up in the slot? It seems like at least six times Verducci called the same play and it worked early on but then USF was just sniffing it out every time. I love Newsome but it seems like our staff is now looking to get him involved in EVERY play rather than diversifying things.
