[QUOTE="6Nattys4Us, post: 5148744, member: 13819"] Butler will be a tough out for us: Obviously an away game - not like @ Texas where the fanbase cares for football 10x over basketball. They are forward heavy with a rotation of 3x 6'7" - 6'9" bigs - Telfort/Brooks II/McCaffery all shoot 3s, Telfort is the main guy. 1. Jahmyl Telfort is a 5th year forward that can get hot from 3 (shooting 43.2% for the year), rebound (4.3), help (3.1 assists) even steal (0.4) and keeps fouls low (1.8 per). Somewhat of a Karaban stat wise. 2. Pierre Brooks II a senior forward that also can shoot from 3 (40% so far this year), rebound (4.8), help (1.8 assists) somewhat steal (0.3) and also keeps fouls low (1.9 per). 3. Patrick Mccaffery is a super senior forward 6th year man averaging ~13 per game, on absurd (high this year, 47% 3s), 4.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, low fouler (0.7) 4. Landon Moore is Junior 6'3" shooting guard below last year in assists (3.6 -> 1.3) and averages 2 give aways (1.1 fouls, 0.8 turnovers) a game. Not a big scorer averaging since transferring from St. Francis (13.1) so he is maybe like Mahaney as he is no Solo Ball. 5. Finley Bizjack, is a 6'4" 190lb sophomore point guard with 2.6 assists to 1.9 turnovers and 2.0 fouls a game. Generally not a scorer (7 pts high this year) and is no Diarra. Bench players of note: 1. Kolby King, junior 6'2" 185lb guard seems to avg ~9 a game (7.2 so far, 10.4 last year) - can get into foul trouble (last 3 games 4, 4, 3) backing up Moore. Avgs 2.3 assists, hair under 1 steal a game, and ~2 turnovers a game. 2. Andre Screen is a 5th year, 7'1" center and at 260 has Reed size to block (1.4) avgs only 6.1 this year (was 11 pts per game Soph/Junior) and minutes have come down so is more a role player prone to turnovers (1.9) and fouls (2.2) 3. Augusto Cassio is bench 6'8" 220 lb sophomore forward from Brazil who plays ~18 mins lately (last 2 games) but increased from 8, 12, 12, to 18, 18 so far. Also like the main forwards can shoot the 3 (43%), rebound (3.1) but is prone to foul trouble (2.7) and almost a turnover a game (0.7). We matchup well on paper with our 4 x 6'7" or taller wings and with Reed (maybe Samson back) we can hold our own in the pain, but we need to win this with our guards - Ball, Diarra, hopefully some Nowell, and let Maheney produce (please!). Fouls will be our main concern with our bigs and wings. They were blown out at Houston because Houston's D is top-tier - and otherwise have been competitive thus far so I expect a tough match up.
