Scout - 2017 Connecticut State Rankings

Regardless of P5, G5, Z5, how is it possible that UConn gets only 1 player in the top dozen?

All but Willis (Mormon), Brown and Nelson held UConn offers.

You're free to draw your own conclusion but don't minimize the status perception of some high school kids between P5 schools and G5 schools.

Some kids just want to go experience the world and go to school OOS and at this point, we are just not going to win many head to head battles w/ the ND, Michigan, Tennessee's of the world absence a legacy lean to UConn or some other special connection.

Not sure if you've had a chance to look @ this list yet (2017 Offer/Commit List Only). We are competing head to head with a different class of school as we have in the past. the majority of losses go to P5 schools (or choose Ivys).

My opinion...

Many of those are not Connecticut kids. Lots of the preppers come from other states.

Actually, the only one on that list from Cheshire Academy/St. Likes's that is not a CT kid is Vretman (he's from Sweden via Idaho).

Lot's of MAC and CUSA Schools recruiting better than UConn. According to that link.

That link also shows that UConn only has 4 commits when I believe we are @ 8 presently.

How is it you're wrong on everything? Do you ever verify anything you play off as fact?
