Scott Hazelton has turned things around

I knew him as a player before he came to UConn, that is before he hurt his ankle and his career veered way off track. He was one of the most dominant high school players I had ever seen and that includes guys like Scoonie Penn, Elton Tyler, and Monte Mack. He got to UConn was part of a recruiting class that included Taliek Brown and Caron Butler. He didn't know how to handle himself, if anyone could have used a prep year to mature, it was him.

Well, here is an article on him and his wife, Julie Tardiff, who herself was an unbelievable player, and their son Jalen. That kid likely has a future in hoops.

I will never forget that he took off his walking cast (against doctor's orders) and caused further damage to the injury that sidelined him. He really needed to grow up.
