Score prediction thread for UCF

The Knights of Black and Bright Gold squeak thru to earn another shot at Our Girls. And, as is the case in the playoffs, we don't have much time to waste re this thread, so:

As always, picking the Knights or the Huskies? By what margin of victory? And, if necessary to break a tie, what do you see for the exact score? Best wishes for good luck and/or wisdom. ( And I am still hoping to find some way to figure out our top predictors for the season as a whole....just seems to be of considerable interest to me, time permitting.)

UCF is improved, but I think we handle them comfortably.

I thought Natalie played perhaps her best all around game today. Especially, on the offensive side of yhe floor. Instead of falling away from her shots she looked to be driving toward the iron on every shot attempt. Something I have been waiting to see from her all season !

I don't even no why UConn has to play in this tournament at all. They won their conference championship out right. If they have a tournament, it should be for second place and UConn should have the rest. As a matter of fact, UConn should only begin playing in the NCAA during the sweet 16. It's all a waste until then. Bag it all just let all the other teams in the big dance fight it out to play UConn in the championship game.

My preference would be for UConn to start play in the semi-finals of the NCAA tournament

As far as a tie breaker, I don't think the game will end in a tie so I won't include one.

But it again will be closer than previous games. This happens as we get closer to the NCAA's.

So with that in mind, and recognizing that we are coming up on the 60th anniversary of the end of the last International Geophysical Year, I shall submit a predicted score of:

84-48 the only time they met this year. I'll go with that same score again. The starters will be pulled early again to conserve their strength and legs for Monday's game.

The bench get lots of plying time, thus UCF may score an extra basket or two. UConn played UCF way back on New Year's Day. I don't know how much they've improved since then. Under the circumstances, I'll go with the same score. UConn women's basketball - They get buckets.
