Schedule next year...UConn men and women doubleheader in NYC?

In the past few days I have read that they are trying to schedule a doubleheader for next year in NYC.

Might be at MSG or at the new Barclay's place. It doesn't sound like a sure thing...they are trying to line up 2 good opponents and that is taking some time.

I'd like this in any event, and I'd love it if it were the same opponent each time. Imagine if both the men and the women played Duke, ND, Stanford, Texas, Louisville, and so on and so forth. That would be a great day on the hardwood.

According to Warde Manuel they had reached out to the arenas to accertain their level interest. They are still waiting for responses. I doubt they are talking to other schools at this stage.

I'd particularly like to see the doubleheader with North Carolina.

UNC and UCONN will sell very fast in NYC........MSG loves UCONN and UCONN loves MSG My question, who plays first?

That would be a good match up, but I like UNC......More east coast

Wouldn't the level of interest depend, in part, on the opponent?

Remember Kentucky and Baylor played in a men's/women's doubleheader earlier this season, which included the 4 OT game.
