The right coach, a stud recruiting class, and broke the Sweet 16 drought...and it's clear UConn is back on the national stage.

But I couldn't help admiring the misfortune of those who kicked us when when UConn was down.

The ACC: Big East poaching/realignment - Pitt? Lost to...a new Big East team. NC State? Lost to...a new Big East team. How's Louisville doing? 'Cuse?
Preseason #1 UNC looked great! Virginia had fun too!

Syracuse: Lol. Your legendary coach drove you into nothingness, retired and left you with a mess.

PC: Your never ending quest to confirm your legitimacy just watched your "hometown hero" leave for a conference rival. You're a real boy, I swear!

Georgetown: You're about to be sued by PC, and you're going to pay tens of millions in buyouts to bring in a carpet bagger who needed a team of 23 and 24 year olds to win 2 games in the NCAAT.

St John's is getting sued by their former coach and is about to bring on a terrible human being (though HOF coach that we just dispatched of), but will raise the profile of the Big East ahead of a new TV contract negotiation.

Is everything coming up UConn??
