SC - UConn Photos

Did not spend a lot on a ticket to sit down low with SC fans. It was more fun to sit in a section of mostly UConn fans. Sorry that the photos were taken from upper deck. Sill having fun down south so just quickly posting these. I will write about my adventure another time. Huh. My eyes could be going on me, but it sure looks like Gabby got a hand on it first.

I think maybe the students got them before the game.. I saw some folks coming in already wearing them plus there really wasn't too much of the overall crowd wearing white. Looked like they did give out white towels and 3 point signs to everyone in the lower section.

Great photos! I sense you were doing more multiple shots than usual, and they are awesome. we get a sense of body language and motion.

One question, Danny: on the very first photo, Dawn's white pants suit has a fair amount of pink in it: what do you think accounts for the color shift in your photo?

I believe they are in front of the electronic board that often had ads in red, so caused the pink hue.

So I had to re-watch the start of the game after seeing this pic. I had been (mildly) surprised that A'ja outjumped Gabby on the opening tip. But that's not what happened at all. Danny's pic shows Gabby's hand a good 6" higher than A'ja's, so I went back and watched the replay. Indeed Gabby outjumped A'ja, but she unfortunately tipped it to Ty Harris.

Actually that is a picture of a very young janitor crew cleaning and polishing the court at half time.

So.... These photos are way above normal.
You should be selling these to the national publications.
Especially to the publications who write about UCONN exceptionally well.
I'm thinking of the guy who writes for the NY Times.
He writes very high quality pieces and follows UCONN.
Your photos remind me of NY Times quality photos which are always above great.
Seriously...
Write that guy at the Times.
National exposure for both you and UCONN.
