Since the board is in full meltdown, I thought I would take this opportunity to provide some balance. We've all been upended by the desperation of the Big12 talks and playing a poor 1st game of the season, albeit against a solid squad on the road.

Well, here's the perspective. We've got a good coaching staff and we've got good players, all working hard to bring a bunch of new pieces together in a short amount of time. You want UConn to become something better in football?? The formula is simple:

... be there this Saturday at high noon, and root these guys on against Merrimack. All of our goals for this year are still available. So, be there! You want a big time program? Act like the fans of a big time program, and let's create the future we want to see...

The disappointment is the team was poorly coached. Also I see same issues in secondary with no ability to cover or tackle. Finally QB level of play has not approved from last year. Most surprising aspect about Evers is he does not have the wheels I thought he would have.
