Saturday 9/22 Non-UConn Games

I'll take the bait. Tell me why you think that and I'll tell you why you're wrong
haha well I can't remember who their coach was, but was fired after 9 win season, which I think is more or less Nebraska's ceiling; even though they were once competing for national championships year after year I'm not sure if they'll ever regain that kind of status. I don't think its that easy of a school to recruit to even with their history.

Bo wasn't fired because of his record he was fired because of his behavior. I don't want to go into it in more detail here but he was fired for being an ass and thats why they hired Riley because he was the anti-Bo even though he can't coach a lick and now we're here.

Oregon fumbled the ball after getting a first down that would've sealed the game. First down Stanford 58 seconds left with a time out down 3 on ABC

Epic double choke by Oregon.
Fumble as they are about to go up 31-7; Stan runs it back to cut it 24-14.
Later, fumble as time is running out; Stan drives it down for game-tying FG.
Then,
Stan wins in OT on a tipped pass that their tall receiver grabs.

Hawaii will win, but love watching Duquesne give it to 'em a little bit.

Refs gave the Dukes a phantom PI to keep them in the game. WR dropped a big pass. Hawaii ball at their 5, game tied.

Eastern Michigan is very impressive against SDSU on CBS Sports -- 17-17 with 3:30 to go. EMU takes a lot of risks on offense --we could learn a thing or two.

EMU is up now. Nevada lost to Toledo, UNLV lost to Arkansas State. Colorado State lost at home to Illinois State. Whats happening in Fort Collins?

LSU got several ridiculous calls their way in the 4th. It seems like the P5 schools get 3-4 big calls late in the game almost every time they get challenged by an underdog. Maybe it is a result of UConn football being so bad, but I am running out of gas on college football. I turned off the LSU game and and college football after the LSU touchdown about 3 plays after the sideline "catch" that was really out of bounds. I thought the DPI call in the endzone was dodgy too. Regardless, I don't care enough to waste my time anymore on games where the refs want to take over.

I used to think nothing of watching 6-8 hours of college football, at least in the background, over the course of the day if I was just puttering around the house. No more.
