If the CFP believes half of their own BS, they have to put OSU at #4 if ND wins. No way UGA/LSU/Bama loser nor OU will have better resume. Same for a 1-ND.

If they don't it will be the end of the CFP.

ACC finalist gets stomped by mediocre conference opponent (Mia up 24-3 on Pitt late)

That was an easy one to see coming. All the teams in that division are pretty much the same and Miami was at home and has an absolute great defense. Pitt is going to get smashed by Clemson next week.

Clemson's best win is TA&M by 2. Which also happens to be LSU's best win should they pull it out..

The correct rankings this week should be
1. ND
2. Clemson
3. Bama
4. UCF
5. OSU
6. OU
7. UGA
8. Mich (Best 2 loss team)

If record really matters.

Tech up big so looks like 4 bowl eligible teams will be home

Unfortunate that BYU and Army may be 2 of them. I liked when the rule was that 6-6 teams could only be selected after everyone else.

Our dream scenario could be happening right before our eyes

If Georgia beats Alabama, and Clemson wins, the playoff committee will have a tough decision to make - does OU knock out Notre Dame? If the field is Clemson, Georgia, Alabama & OU, Notre Dame will be livid and may decide that they have to join the ACC if they want a chance at another national title.

Seems like a stretch that ND gets left out. Although, Bama not being there doesn’t feel right either. I’d love the discussions and belly-aching regardless...and maybe, just maybe, there would be some potential for conference discussions.
