Sarah to Represent 3x3 for the US (merged thread)

Sarah didn't make one shot beyond 5 feet in the tourney. The US team as a whole played too much iso instead of moving. Sarah stood around and deferred more than was optimal.

Other than Sahara Williams, who played well, I thought the rest of the US team was tired and disjointed. Chalk it up to a long trip, 5 games in 2 days and being young.

Incredible! Australia RUNS out the CLOCK for the WIN.
USA started strong for a change. But ... in the final minute
Australia scores, a turnover by the USA, and Australia scores
AGAIN. Marena Whittle probably the MVP with being
the HIGHEST Scorer in the Tournament.
NEXT WEEK some of the same teams and FOUR MORE
EXCELLENT TEAMS. USA needs to find a way to put together
a complete game..... and FINISH in the FINAL MINUTES...

Men are in Pool B, and play Japan @ 4:45 a.m. June 23rd (half way around the world (UTC +8, EDT is UTC -4 ==> 12 hours time difference), and Mongolia at 6:25 a.m.; on June 25th: Latvia at 4:45 a.m., and Montenegro at 7:50 a.m.;
The women are in Pool B, and play Czechia at 1:40 a.m. on Jun 24th, and Netherlands (#1 on the current series) at 4:20 a.m.; on Jun 25th at 11:50 p.m. vs. Japan; on June 26th at 2:05 a.m. vs. Chile.

Five teams in each pool ==> four games each; round of "16" is NOT, but have 8 teams in the "knock-out" round to play the #1 team emerging from pool play in the quarter finals, so advantage to the #1's to be well rested OR (if not the #1's) you have been able to "workout" the lactic acid in your muscles and are fully warmed up to take on a #1 that you have not played yet!

Good mindset (always) either way!!
