Sarah Strong Named 2025-26 First Team All-American, Player of the Year by Sporting News

Sarah Strong joins Iowa's Caitlin Clark (2024) and USC's Juju Watkins (2025) as recent recipients of the award.

Congrats to Sarah on another well deserved Player of the Year award. I think she's 3/3 so far. Fudd also named a 2nd Team All American.

She must be one of the most humble superstars ever. With so many players out there (very good to great ones) self-promoting to the hilt, many of them with an edginess or attitude to boot, it's such a pleasure to see someone like Sarah. It makes me like and root for her evgen more, if that's possible! Go Sarah!

Worth clicking through to see a photo of Sarah with an expression and posture I’m not sure I’ve ever seen from her. It’s reminiscent of fired-up Paige.

Also of note is that they have 3 AA teams, with Cotie McMahon on 2nd team and Jaloni and Olivia O. on 3rd.
