For a while the football team practiced at a high school a few miles north in San Mateo County, when that county's restrictions were a bit lighter than Santa Clara county. It's also a short hop across a bridge to the East Bay. The team is living on campus now and not going home for the holidays. Classes are done for the quarter and final exams were cancelled for all students, so the players have nothing to do if they can't practice or play.
