according to The Athletic.

"During the first three minutes of the Huskies’ Final Four game against Miami, Sanogo stroked in two 3-pointers from the top of the key. They weren’t exactly works of art — Sanogo has a push set shot, and the Hurricanes had left him wide open for a reason — but they weren’t anomalies, either. Sanogo had attempted (and missed) just one 3-pointer during his first two seasons in Storrs, but as a junior he made 19 of his 52 attempts for a cool 36.5 percent...

"And that is really the only question Sanogo is facing as he transitions to the league. Like a lot of big men, he could be vulnerable defending ball screens away from the basket, but Sanogo has also improved drastically in this regard. There is still a place in the NBA for the big, strong, rugged, warrior, old-school power forward.... There’s a reason Sanogo was the runaway choice for Most Outstanding Player during UConn’s dominant NCAA Tournament run. He’s really good, and he has a lot of room to get better."

I would not really be surprised if he goes before Andre, even if it is more likely the other way around. It's really going to be interesting to watch. Andre tantalizes, but he did have three years in college and his ability to score didn't really get much better. Adama improved dramatically, and especially once freed up from forced back to the basket offense against double teams.

Somewhere in the top half of round two, a team will grab Sanogo.

He also showed ability to pump fake, put the ball on the deck, and get to the rim. That, pick and pop, plus the traditional low-post game, should draw some attention. What will limit him is that he plays very much below the rim.

Hmmm Sounds like another great player who just won MVP of the finals. The below the rim game.

Got my fingers crossed for both having NBA careers. Deserving great Huskies, team players, they will both go down with our program's best.
