LINK!

Slow, ugly 1st quarter.........then things picked up considerably! Saniya didn't play the last 10 minutes 26 seconds of the game. On to the Region Final!

You may need to scroll down to see the Ossining blog, at the LINK site, as they add more games to the Blog.

Congrats to Saniya and her team! She could approach 3,000 career points by next March. I believe that she is 6th nationally this year.

Thanks Time for Link;) Milford, correct she is #6 Nationally in scoring, the team is #1 Nationally,#1 in the state . Her assists, intensity, athletisism, maturity, team player all spell UCONN;) Love her as a combo guard at the next level! We will be seeing her back on the campus. Do you know we have some CA/West Coast players very interested in us for 2014

I have been to all but one of Ossinings games this year.I've been following high school basketball for 40 years and have never seen a more dominant player. UCONN would be wise to recruit her.

UConn is recruiting her. All the coaches except Geno have watched her play, and Geno will be seeing her play very soon. She has visited UConn, met with the coaches and the team. UConn got started late with her, but it looks like there is definitely mutual interest.

Thanks for the historical perspective.

We are recruiting her. I hope she commits this month.

Because she did not have the exposure of AAU ball, she is rated about #80 in her class. She sounds more like the #8 player.

Geno is getting closer to a “two for one” viewing of Saniya ………and Breanna.
I believe they are a game or two (three at most?) from playing against each other in the Class AA, NY State, girls high school championships.

Ossining: Saniya has 'blown up' on this board in the last month with many reports of our staff visiting her and she coming to Storrs with some of her teammates. I am hoping [really 'counting on'] Ossining getting to Troy on March 16 for the state semis. Cicero with Breanna Stewart might be their semis opponent...or the two teams might play in back-to-back games that evening....I sure plan to be there.

Given your frequent observations of Saniya, the recruit-lovers here would really appreciate your take on her game....strengths...areas needing improvement etc.

As long as UConn is in the mix for Chong, it would be great if you would occasionally stop by and post.

Time: not positive but I think both Ossining and Cicero have just one more game to play before advancing to Troy on March 16. I don't know how the bracket sets up for that night....play somebody else or each other in that semi-final event.
