No, it's just jumping ahead and skipping the announcement Facey will play this season and Snider, Abu, Larrier and Chuckwa announce they are coming to UConn. Then let the season begin.Great news. Now all I want is for the season to begin right away. No waiting until November. Is that asking too much?
It's already been posted but this video shows a lot. Can go strong to the rim both hands. Great court vision. And has a nice mid-range dribble pull-up jumper which is a hard skill to master and imperative for good point guards to have. Overall his game is very mature coming out of High School.
Nice to have him--we need Facey now. Ill believe all year that this was a championship caliber team WITH Wolf and a step below without him as long as we also had Facey and Samuels I dont see how w3e can win it without the 7-1 260 available to us even for 12-15 minutes
Lets see we have a 4 year pg. Under the tutelage of an NBA point guard. Understudy of an AA senior point guard. Practicing daily and watching another soon to be NBA dynamo.
We just might have our point guard for the next 4 years!
Makes me feel much better and makes me want to tell all those recent 'dropsie' recruits to go eat shtt.
I'm just guessing here but I assume he has already met the SAT standard, or else he wouldn't have been admitted, and the classes he was missing were core courses under NCAA rules. Once he passed them he need only inform the eligibility center and he's fine.I'm a little concerned (or puzzled at the least) that the headline doesn't match the content of the story. The story says that he fulfilled requirements needed to enroll at UConn, but not that he's made it through the NCAA Clearinghouse. There's nothing in the story that says he can play this year - the headline writer seemed to reach his/her own conclusions that weren't there.
