Samson Johnson - I see it

Samson hadn't played too much before the Gambling State game, so it was good to see him get 20 minutes on Saturday. He had 5 points and 6 rebounds and looked very promising for a freshman big. He looked smooth and agile and his body language and demeanor showed confidence. His points came on a 3 and a nice dunk in the half court set. Easy to be excited about Samson, I hope he gets lots more minutes while Sanogo is out.

Samson has some unique qualities for a Big. Graceful and quick on and off his feet. Will be interesting to watch him develop his skills in Storrs.

His footspeed will create problems for opposing defenders.
