After the missed the second layup today, I turned to Colleen and asked "What is this, a virus? After all the missed ones in the SCar game." They only missed one more for the rest of the game. I'm claiming the credit for clearing the mojo. ;^)
Loved what I saw from Napheesa, Kia, Kyla, Gabby today. Azura came alive in the second half. And I thought the 6 minutes from Batouly were very promising. She's quick, strong, defends well and has a confident foul-line jumper. Was it the brace?
Why did Geno leave Gabby in until the end of the 3rd period when she was limping badly about 5 minutes of game time before that? I absolutely cannot figure that out -- seems a roll of the dice against getting more injured.
