I know she reads the Boneyard some, but I have realized my twitter feed has not had the recent postings of Ally Auriemma. I went to her blog to see that she gave it up for lent. I find her blog and twitter posts quite entertaining although I am sure our tastes and interests differ greatly on most things. I find her to be a tough, outspoken yet vulnerable person. My twiter feed is much more intelligent with her musings. I look forward to her return.

My Twitter feed was always better for Ally's humor and musings and her young adult angst peppered with her love of family and zest for life.

I miss Ally's tweets, too! And I love the blog as well. But I am glad she realizes (from her blog) that you can get a lot more done in your life if you are not constantly reacting to the twitterverse....sometimes (even on the Boneyard) a little distance during your day is a good thing...

Especially now that she's a teacher. Tweeting about students/classes not a good idea. Those tweets always made me cringe.

It looks like she closed her Twitter account. I hope she is well. For a while, she stopped talking about Husky matters so she could be herself, not just the coach's daughter. I admire her for that. Her dad casts a big shadow in CT so hopefully now she is focusing on herself.

Looked to me like the last posting was March 15 with the previous March 8.

While I enjoy her writing and commentary, is it really Boneyard material? It was when she first started as it was a link to UConn BB insights.

Guys - she gave twitter up for Lent! But, I hope that (per her blog) she realizes that life is to be lived and enjoyed, with far less REACTION to life on social media.

Her tweets are locked, so unless she allows you to follow her, they can't see it

Yes, but only recently. I wondered when she locked her tweets if that was the reason why.

As a teacher myself, I don't want my students and/or parents finding me ANYWHERE on the Internet:)

Lol I hear that.. when Facebook started and we found our teachers it caused a few problems at school (when I was in high school).. Now they are only allowed to accept friend requests from alumni
