Attended the game and sat behind the Lynx bench. All the Lynx players looked healthy and happy. Even Lindsey was smiling during warmups (she's really pretty when she smiles). The deadpan thing must be a put-on or something. ;-)
Incidentally, the rumours of her losing anything on the court seem to have been premature. She had a nice game.
SA stayed kind of close for part of the 1st quarter but the strong Lynx bench wore them down and they fell behind by double digits and that was it. Kelsey couldn't get anything going on offense but that's understandable considering that Minny 's defense was smothering the Stars the entire game. Minny and LA are dominating the league much the same way as Cleveland and Golden State dominate the NBA.
Two words that describe Minny:
Formidable
UCONN-like.
Can't wait to see LA play Minny this season.
