I'll post the leaderboard later today when the matches are listed. A little of this and a little of that. Friday and Saturday TV Starts at 7:00 USA channel all morning...alternate shot matches. NBC all afternoon...4 ball matches...best ball Sunday: singles matches...starts at noon...NBC. Last 11 Ryder Cups: Europe 8 USA 3....yikes! Europe has dominated at home 6-0...many matches one sided. USA 3-2 at home...this year home at Bethpage Black course in NYC area. We tend to do poorly in alternate shot matches. In 2023 we lost in Rome by 5 points overall. In alternate shot matches [8 points...4 Friday 4 Saturday] we lost 6 and 1/2 to 1 and 1/2...gee I wonder why we lost. Hope we get some Boneyard golf fans to offer their takes over the weekend...especially if we get someone to be a spectator actually on the grounds. Several Ryder Cup rookies on our team....including our very own TonyC's golfing buddy Cameron Young...Cameron grew up in the metro area and is very familiar with the course. Captain Keegan Bradley is getting a lot of praise for the way he is prepping our team. He has a very fiery demeanor and I bet the metro NYC crowd will be up for this bigtime...wonder if the combo just might be too much for necessary composure and focus for our players.
