Ryan - 5' 10"
Dakari - 6' 11"

Reach -
Ryan - 7' 8.5"
Dakari - 9' 4"

Maximum Vertical Reach -
Ryan - 11' 1.5"
Dakari - 11' 5"

Wow. Dakari's max vertical is 25". Damn, I had that as a skinny white dude as a Junior in HS who never worked out and didn't play much ball. If you believe the UK numbers, he lost 8" or more of vertical since the UK combine. Yeah right. How does the dude play college ball for 2 years and not get his vertical up much past 2 feet? Really bizarre.

Why are you comparing a center to a point guard?

What's amazing is that Ryan can get more than a foot above the basket.

I think to point out that the 13 inch difference in height and almost 20 inch difference in standing vertical reach amounts to only 3.5 inches in max vertical reach. Boat's got hops. Dakari don't.

Johnson's decision to go to UK cost him millions. Anywhere else in the country and he'd have been a starter, averaged 12 pts/10 rebs/3 blocks, and been a top-20 pick. Even with that **y vertical his size, standing reach (higher than Drummond's) and strength/hands in traffic make him a prolific rebounder and legitimate deterrent at the rim.

I hope my Dubs pick him at the end of the first round.

He was definitely their worst rotation player overall last year and he never contributed anything in a game against teams that weren't horrible once January rolled around. I just don't think he's that good.

I have Dakari as a second round sleeper. Hoping my Knicks sneak into the 2nd round and pick him up. He's a wide body that can rebound and has some post up skills.
